Here are the top five stories in Douglasville today:

1. The Douglasville Police Department arrested two people, 29-year-old Janaya Campbell and 26-year-old Ismael Gomez, and have issued warrants for three others as suspects in the "alleged drug deal" turned fatal shooting on Wednesday, Jul. 6, that ended in the death of 21-year-old Angel Felix. The three suspects not yet in police custody are Abel Santiago, Ovicel Santiago, and Victor Maldonado. The incident on Wednesday took place near the McDonald's parking lot by the Douglas Commons Shopping Center. (11 Alive)
2. The Trenches Sport Open Court is on Saturday, Jul. 23, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Jesse Davis Park (7775 Malone Street) in Douglasville. The event is free, with drinks, food, games, and prizes. (The Trenches US)
