  1. A man has been arrested after pulling up to the QuickTrip on Chapel Hill road and shooting at the building at least once early last night. Douglasville police arrested the man after he was involved in a crash near I-20. No one was injured during the shooting. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  2. Two teens are being charged as adults after shooting and attempting to rob a 16-year-old they were going to buy drugs from. The Douglasville Police Department said the two teens are being charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and armed robbery, are currently in jail without bail. A third teen, who set up the suspects with the victim for the drug deal, was charged with conspiracy to commit a felony and contributing to the delinquency and unruliness/deprivation of a minor.   3. Douglasville resident Todd Ireland is one of three Georgia educators who was awarded a stipend for inspiring students. Ireland teaches STEM to kids in the community on Saturdays at the Douglasville Community Center. The man plans on using the stipend for the organization he helped start — 100 Black Men of Douglasville — which is focused on mentoring the youth and the community. (CBS 46 News)
  4. A Douglas County jury has convicted Ronnie Price, 55, on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of children. The recent, two-day trial was for the case that originally began in October 2018. Price is facing up to 100 years in prison and will be sentenced by the court at a later date. (Douglas County District Attorney's Office via Facebook)
  5. A Tallahassee abortion clinic has reported seeing an increase of almost 40 percent of women coming to the clinic from states like Georgia where abortions are performed up to six weeks as opposed to Florida's 15-week rule. The clinic believes Georgia's heartbeat law that recently went into effect is the cause of the increase in Georgia women seeking out of state abortions. (WSB Atlanta)
