Here's What Those New Douglas County Billboards Are All About

The intention of the billboards are to increase awareness of the many great amenities in Douglas County.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA -- As the Community and Economic Strategic Plan continues to progress, Douglas UnitE3 in partnership with Douglas County Tourism, recently launched a billboard campaign to promote the community brand, Live Outside the Lines. The billboards are located on I-20, Highway 5, Fairburn Road and Veterans Memorial Highway. The intention of the billboards are to increase awareness of the many great amenities in Douglas County.

Douglas County Tourism director, Collin Cash, said, “We are very excited to partner with Douglas Unite to raise awareness of all the fun and exciting things to explore in Douglas County.”

The Community and Economic Strategic Plan came to fruition through a group of community leaders, citizens, and members of the business community. In August 2018, Douglas UnitE3 hosted an unveiling of the Community Strategic Plan and new community brand with an overwhelming attendance. The strategic plan identifies four pillars of focus: celebrate the community, invest with intention, cultivate talent and build business success. Each pillar is led by individuals that are committed to putting the plan into action.
