  1. A Honda Civic slammed into a school bus with children present on I-20 East in Douglasville on Friday afternoon. Officials confirmed the school bus is owned by an Alabama day care facility. As of Friday evening, the investigation was ongoing and injuries were unknown. (CBS 46 News)
  2. Extra Space Storage has announced they will hold a public auction to sell personal property at the 2376 Fairburn Rd, Douglasville location. The auction will take place on Aug. 17 at 3:00 p.m. Individuals whose personal property is up for auction include Melissa Reyes, Nicole Noreault, Latasha Covington, and others. (Daily Advent)
  3. The 2023 college football recruiting cycle for the Atlantic Coast Conference is heating up. Three Douglasville natives have committed to schools in the conference; they include Zachariah Keith (Georgia Tech), Hilton Alexander II (Wake Forest), and Madden Sanker (Louisville). (247Sports)
