  1. Christian Leadrew Johnson, 16, was reported missing in Douglas County. He is described by the sheriff's office as a black male with brown eyes and black dreads, 5'8", and 145 lbs.   2. Attend an upcoming meeting to determine a new location for Clinton Nature Dog Park. District 4 Commissioner and Douglas County Parks and Rec Department plan to hold an informational meeting on May 1 to discuss with the community the location for a new dog park in the Clinton Nature Preserve.   3. The Douglasville Police Department is looking for vendors and talent for its upcoming Music Festival. The festival, set to occur on May 12 from noon to 5:00 p.m., will be held in front of the police department. The festival has a limited number of spaces for vendors, so contact the police department and get your application in by May 5. Vendor spaces cost $40 to rent. In honor of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, the Douglas County District Attorney's Office has restocked and upgraded its quiet and safe soft interview room with books, coloring supplies, a video game console, and more to provide victims and witnesses with a calming space before entering the courtroom. The office posted on Facebook, "Court days can be long and stressful for victims, but our hope is that this room will bring a sense of calmness before they step into the courtroom."   • Be on the lookout for a missing juvenile: Kennedy Newton. Kennedy, 16 years of age, was last seen at her home in Douglas County. While investigators don't know what she was last seen wearing, Kennedy is described as a black female, 5’4”, 220lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.
