Rob Latzsch of Johns Creek desperately needed a kidney. When hope seemed lost, an unlikely donor answered the call after seeing a Facebook post stating Rob was searching for a kidney donor. It was a former classmate he'd lost touch with and not spoken to in years.

Savannah firefighters came to the rescue of a deer who had gotten his antlers stuck in a soccer net. The poor animal was exhausted and could barely lift its head up when help finally arrived.
Puppy Bowl 2022: Georgia Dog Featured On Animal Planet Event
Benny, a disabled Labradoodle from Bosley's Place in Smyrna, will compete in Puppy Bowl XVIII on Sunday, Feb. 13. Benny has an abnormal, inoperable spinal deformity — one that has never been seen or written about in any textbook. He has a special wheelchair that helps him get around, and he doesn't let his disability stop him from smiling.
Most Liked Airbnbs On Instagram Features Marietta Guesthouse
On Monday, Airbnb unveiled the 10 most-liked homes from its Instagram in 2021 — and a Marietta Airbnb rental made the list. The Marietta property is formerly the home of two Georgia governors, and is overflowing with rich history: for example, the guesthouse bedroom was once a smokehouse in the 1840s.
