Villa Rica Man Dies, Douglasville Man Jailed Following Easter Accident
The deadly car-motorcycle crash is one of two such accidents in Douglas County this week that led to a charge of vehicular homicide.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A Villa Rica motorcyclist is dead and a Douglasville driver is in jail following a two-vehicle accident on Easter morning, authorities said.
Craig Madurski, 58, was charged with homicide by vehicle and DUI after he turned left at Veterans Memorial Highway and Cedar Mountain Crossing, where his Kia collided with a motorcycle driven by Darion Wright, 31.
Wright was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Maj. J.R. Davidson of the Douglasville Police Department as reported by The Douglas County Sentinel.

The car-motorcycle crash is one of two in Douglas County this week. On Tuesday, another Douglasville man was charged with vehicular homicide after authorities say he struck a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Interstate 20. The motorcyclist in that incident died of his injuries, authorities said.
