More than 400 dogs and cats were adopted during the month-long "Animal Explosion" at the Gwinnett Animal Shelter.
The adoption campaign ended with a block party and car show at the shelter in Lawrenceville Saturday, July 27.
About 25 animals were adopted the final day.
Dogs and cats were available at reduced adoption fees during the campaign.
