GDOT Plans Maintenance This Week in Gwinnett

The Georgia Department of Transportation announces routine maintenance activities planned for this week in Gwinnett County.

Most activities will only require shoulder or median lane closures. This is a tentative schedule; if emergency response is needed at a crash scene or if emergency repairs are necessary this schedule will change.

Monday, Nov. 12, is a holiday. Crews will work Tuesday, Nov. 13, through Friday, Nov. 16. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. if weather permits.

The work involves sweeping on SR 378 from Lilburn to Norcross and shoulder maintenance on I-985. Shoulder work requires a single lane closure and delays are expected

Motorists should reduce their speed in these and all work zones.
