Large Dog Park Scheduled to Reopen Friday, Sept. 28

The large dog park at Chattapoochee Dog Park in Rogers Bridge Park is scheduled to be reopened Friday, Sept. 28, just before Duluth Fall Festival weekend. The park for dogs over 20 pounds has been closed for extensive sod repair.

Large dogs may not use the small dog park for dogs under 20 pounds while the sod restoration is underway.

Additional work including mulching, installing mister heads and timers in the dog fountains, and other improvements are being done in both parks to prepare them for the Chattapoochee Pet Fest Oct. 7.
