
A voter registration drive will be conducted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the MetroPCS at 3780 Old Norcross Road in Duluth as part of National Voter Registration Day activities Tuesday, Sept. 25. The Duluth drive is being sponsored by the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (GALEO) and El Patron Radio 105.3 FM.
The Duluth drive is part of activities throughout metro Atlanta to ensure all eligible voters in Georgia are registered to vote in the Nov. 6 General Election. Deadline to register to vote is Oct. 9.
The voter registration efforts are supported by Congressmen John Lewis, David Scott and Hank Johnson; Civil Rights legend the Rev. C.T. Vivian; Atlanta 9to5; Asian American Legal Advocacy Center (AALAC); Coalition for the People's Agenda; The League of Women Voters of Georgia; Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (GALEO); Georgia NAACP; Georgia Equality; Georgia Conservation Voters; Stand UP!, Georgia WAND; Planned Parenthood Southeast; Partnership for Southern Equity and eligible voters.
