Atlanta Braves Pitcher Arrested for DUI in Gwinnett
Martinez was booked into Gwinnett Detention Center early Monday, records show.

An Atlanta Braves relief pitcher was arrested early Monday on I-85 near Lawrenceville on a DUI charge, Gwinnett Sheriff's Department records show.
Christhian Martinez, 30, was booked into the Gwinnett Detention Center at 4:24 a.m., and he was released on bond at 10:41.

Gwinnett Police Cpl. Jake Smith told the Gwinnett Daily Post that Martinez had a blood-alcohol content of 0.130, above the legal limit of 0.08.
Martinez was stopped on I-85 near Steve Reynolds Boulevard when his vehicle was spotted weaving and driving 40 mph, the Daily Post reported. He was charged with driving under the influence, failure to maintain a single lane and impeding the flow of traffic.

Martinez, entering his third season with the Braves, is in the area for the Braves' All Stars vs. Future Stars game Tuesday at Coolray Field. The Atlanta Braves open their regular season Thursday afternoon in New York.
