Duluth Seeks Citizens for Environmental Task Force
External task force will recommend ways city can become environmentally friendly

DULUTH, GA -- Duluth Councilwoman Marsha Anderson Bomar is recruiting citizens to serve on a Sustainability Task Force to help the city become "greener."
The external task force will make recommendations on initiating environmental sustainability practices in the city. It will meet six times (twice a month for 3 months) beginning in March.
"The structure allows for many participants from a diverse range of backgrounds -- property owners and renters, residents and business people, students, school representatives, young and old," Bomar said. She hopes the task force will mirror the city and represent many ethnicities and races.
