Former Auburn Wide Receiver Arrested For Armed Robbery: Police
A former Auburn wide receiver has been arrested and charged with the armed robbery of a Gwinnett restaurant, according to Duluth Police.

DULUTH, GA — A former Auburn wide receiver has been arrested and charged with armed robbery of the China Taste restaurant, in Duluth, according to the Duluth Police Department.
Myron Burton, 21, was arrested Friday and charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony for the Aug. 7 robbery of China Taste, located at 3870 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Suite 220. The Duluth Police Department received a 911 call at 4:55 p.m.
Burton red-shirted as a freshman in 2014 but left the team before the 2015 season with what was described as a "mutual" decision between him and the team.

He had a strong performance that spring, having a break-out performance in the Tigers’ receiving corps. During A-Day, Burton earned offensive MVP honors by snatching seven passes for 124 yards and a touchdown.

The Duluth Police Department conducted a search of the location where Burton was living, and he was then placed under arrest and transported to Gwinnett County Jail.
