Gwinnett County Public Schools Expecting 1,691 New Students

Gwinnett County Public Schools is anticipating 1,691 new students for the 2013-14 school year bringing the total enrollment to 166,667 students.

GCPS is the largest school system in Georgia. Last year’s enrollment was about 165,000.

Students returned to school Aug. 7. Enrollment counts will be conducted in Gwinnett County Public Schools every week through the day after Labor Day, according to GCPS spokesman Jorge Quintana.
