Severe T-Storms, Tornadoes Predicted
Heavy rain, damaging winds, hail, lightning, and isolated tornadoes predicted Friday evening.

Gwinnett County and Duluth are included in the hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service that says severe thunderstorms–and isolated tornadoes–are possible tonight (March 2) after 7 p.m.
A strong cold front moving through the Tennessee Valley into North Georgia late Friday is expected to reachinto central Georgia by Friday night. The primary hazards from thunderstorms will be isolated tornadoes, damaging winds, large hail, frequent lightning and very heavy rain. Up to 1 or 2 inches of rainfall is possible.
After possibly hitting northwest Georgia in the early evening, the severe thunderstorms are most likely to spread southeast across the rest of North Georgia through the evening and into the morning.
