Experts Sharing Information at Redevelopment Forum

Brookings Institute fellow Chris Leinberger, a land use strategist, teacher, developer, researcher and author noted for balancing business realities with social and environmental issues, will be the keynote speaker at a Gwinnett Redevelopment Forum Friday, Jan. 27, at the in Duluth. Information will be presented on local and regional redevelopment activity.

The annual forum is being presented by Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development and the Council for Quality Growth from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Doors open for networking and breakfast at 8 a.m. Lunch will be provided. The hotel is located at 1775 Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth.

Other speakers include Gary Mongeon of Bleakly Advisory Group, Tom Owens of Morgan Keegan, Fergal Brady of Main Street Resources, Walter Brown of Green Street Partners, Krissy Venneman of North American Development Group, and Mary Douglas Hirsch with the City of Greenville, S.C.

Also participating will be Charlotte Nash, chairman, Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners; Nick Masino, senior vice president, Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development; Alan Durham, director, Gwinnett County Economic Development; Chuck Warbington, executive eirector, Gwinnett Village Community Improvement District; Michael Paris, president, Council For Quality Growth; and Joe Allen, executive eirector, Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District.
