TSPLOST Chats Start Monday
Register to participate in Gwinnett County's 'Wireside Chat' scheduled for Thursday, June 7.

A series of informational "Wireside Chats" about the Regional Transportation Referendum start Monday, June 4, in Atlanta. Gwinnett's chat with Gwinnett County Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash and Norcross Mayor Bucky Johnson is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. Thursday, June 7.
Government officials and transportation professionals in 10 metro Atlanta counties will answer questions from residents about the July 31 referendum and the projects the proposed 1-cent transportation tax would support.
The tax would fund a list of $8.5 billion in transportation improvements across metro Atlanta.

The free telephone townhall meetings are organized by jurisdiction. Participants who register in advance will receive a map they can use to view the locations of projects discussed on the call. To register, visit www.wiresidechats.com or call 404-463-3227.

Each chat will last for one hour, and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions directly of local officials. If a question is not answered during the call, the caller will receive a response via email.
