Dunwoody Police Look For McDonald's Armed Robbery Suspects

The robbery occurred early Monday morning, and police have released photos and descriptions of the suspects.


Dunwoody Police are searching for two suspects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred early Monday morning at a McDonald's on Ashford-Dunwoody Road.

According to a statement from Dunwoody Police, the incident occurred at 4:09 Monday morning at the McDonald's located at 4540 Ashford Dunwoody Road.

While a driver of a dark sedan was at the drive through window ordering food, two suspects ran up from a hiding location behind the building toward the service window.

"The first suspect pointed a dark colored pistol at the clerk," according to the statement. "Both suspects jumped through the window into the store and took an undisclosed amount of cash."

Police described one suspect as in his early 20’s, 5’06’’ to 5’08,” 150-175 pounds, wearing a dark ski mark, black hooded jacket, white gloves, black pants, and light color shoes.

The second suspect is described as 5’08” to 5’10”, skinny, with a dark hooded jacket, dark ski mask, white gloves, dark grayish pants, dark shoes, holding a green and black gym bag.

The driver of the dark sedan vehicle is also described as a person of interest.
