Exec to Explain Tech Innovations in Cancer Treatment at Networking Event
Mark Symons, of Dunwoody-based Elekta, will speak at Dunwoody Perimeter Coffee Connection, Tuesday.

New technology in cancer treatment by Dunwoody-based Elekta, a clinical solutions company that develops ways to treat cancer and brain disorders, will be discussed during the Dunwoody Perimeter Coffee Connection, Tuesday.
The event is held 7:30-9 a.m., at The Capital Grille restaurant. Admission is $20 for Dunwoody Chamber members; $30 for non-members.

Elekta relocated 150 employees and its U.S. headquarters to a state-of-art facility in Dunwoody, and plans to hire 80 new employees over the next five years, according the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce.
Mark Symons, senior vice president at Elekta, will detail the company's goals and accomplishments, Tueaday. Elekta solutions in oncology and neurosurgery are used in over 6,000 hospitals worldwide. Elekta employs around 3,300 employees globally.
