Get the Low-Down on Halloween Hotspot
Halloween at Dunwoody's Briers North Subdivision is a favorite among trick-or-treaters young and old alike.

It began with one house’s exuberant Halloween spirit, and gradually the entire neighborhood joined in displaying extravagant decorations to create a lively trick-or-treating experience.
Today, the Briers North Halloween event is a beloved Dunwoody tradition.
To get the most out of trick-or-treating at Briers North this year, follow these guidelines from the community’s website:

- Halloween is celebrated on Friday, Oct. 31, rain or shine.
- Residents begin passing out candy at 6 p.m. and stop at 9 p.m. No one will be admitted to the subdivision after 8:30 p.m.
- The subdivision will close to vehicle traffic at 5:45 p.m. and will not reopen until 9:30 p.m.
- There will be no public parking inside the Briers North subdivision. This year’s suggested parking is at the lot of the Crossroads Church, located at 4805 Tilly Mill Road in Dunwoody. If you park outside, please do so legally.
- Trick-or-treating in Briers North on Halloween is at your own risk. This is a public event on public streets and is not sponsored by any association or group. The Briers North community does not assume liability or responsibility for visitors.
- Pets are not allowed to attend. They get scared and can scare some of the children.
Officers from the Dunwoody Police Department will be stationed around the neighborhood to direct traffic and maintain a safe and fun evening for everyone involved.
While the event is free, the Briers North subdivision welcomes small online donations to help make their Halloween festivities possible each year.
