I-285 E Crash In Dunwoody Seriously Injures Driver: Police
A car was lodged underneath a dump truck, and the two vehicles continued to travel east on I-285 before coming to a stop, police said.
DUNWOODY, GA — A 26-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries after her car became wedged under a dump truck Tuesday on Interstate 285 east near Chamblee Dunwoody Road, police said.
Dunwoody Police said the crash happened around 3 a.m., when a white Ford Mustang heading east on I-285 passed the Chamblee Dunwoody Road bridge and rear-ended the dump truck.
The Mustang was lodged underneath the dump truck, and the two vehicles continued to travel east before coming to a stop, police said. The woman was seriously injured, police said.

First responders extracted the woman driver from the Mustang and started life-saving measures, police said. The woman was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she is being treated for life-threatening injuries, police said.
The driver of the dump truck was not injured, police said.
