Man Ejected From Car On I-285, Injured In Dunwoody Crash
The man lost control of the car, and the car hit a median before traveling across all lanes of Interstate 285 westbound.
DUNWOODY, GA — A 19-year-old man who was ejected from his car early Wednesday after it hit a median and uncontrollably went across all lanes of Interstate 285 westbound is in stable condition, Dunwoody Police said.
Officers responded around 3:45 a.m. to I-285 near Ashford Dunwoody Road. Police said a white Nissan was driving on the interstate, approaching the Ashford Dunwoody bridge, when the driver lost control of the car.
The Nissan hit a left median and traveled across all interstate lanes, hitting a right guardrail and stopping in the center lane, police said. When officers arrived, police said they found a driver ejected from the car and seriously injured.

Moments later, a burgundy Ford Escape hit the unoccupied Nissan. Police said the driver of the Ford was not injured. The Nissan driver was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and was in stable condition Wednesday, police said.
