Pianist Jeffrey Siegel to Perform at MJCCA

Acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Siegel will perform works from the Waltzes of Chopin, the sassy Polka of Shostakovich and the 20^th century Tango of Astor Piazzola, during his appearance at the Marcus Jewish Community of Atlanta, on April 21.

The concert, “Listen to the Dance:  Waltzes, Marches, Polkas & Tangos,” will include commentary about the composers. Also, a question and answer session will be held after the performance.

Siegel has worked with numerous conductors as Claudio Abbado, Pierre Boulez, Charles Dutoit and Michael Tilson Thomas; and legendary maestros of the past includinng Eugene Ormandy, Sir George Solti and William Steinberg.
