Rapper Chief Keef Arrested at Le Meridien Hotel

Hotel security called Dunwoody Police when they smelled marijuana coming from the rapper's room.

 

Rapper Chief Keef was released from Dekalb County Jail, in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. He was arrested by Dunwoody Police on Monday afternoon at LeMeridien Hotel and charged with disorderly conduct.

After his release, the 17-year-old rapper whose real name is Keith Cozart, used expletives in posts about his arrest on Twitter and Facebook. 

Keef has had other recent run-ins with the law. A Chicago Tribune report said he was sentenced to 18 months probation after pointing a gun at a Chicago police officer. He violated probation in March when he shot a rifle during a music promotion event, the story said, and served 60 days in jail.
