Rapper T.I.'s Son King Harris Arrested In Dunwoody: Reports

The 20-year-old son of "T.I." and "Tiny" Harris was arrested this week after being accused of nearly hitting a Dunwoody officer's car.

DUNWOODY, GA — King Harris, the 20-year-old son of rapper Clifford "T.I." Harris and Xscape songstress Tameka "Tiny" Cottle-Harris, was arrested Monday near a Dunwoody gas station, according to recent media reports.

The younger Harris was arrested on an out-of-county warrant, DeKalb County Jail records showed Friday. He was released to another police agency, records showed.

The warrant was issued for failure to appear in a Pickens County court, Fox 5 Atlanta.

According to WSB-TV, Dunwoody Police conducted a traffic stop on King Harris after he was accused of nearly hitting an officer's car while the officer was exiting a gas station.

During the stop, the officer reportedly smelled marijuana coming from King Harris' BMW and also noticed a gun that was allegedly on his hip.

King Harris was cooperative, stepped outside of his car as asked by the officer and the officer then removed the gun, WSB-TV reported. King Harris was then arrested, the news outlet reported.

This week's arrest would not be his first run-in with law enforcement.

Fox 5 reported he was charged on suspicion of speeding, knowingly driving a motor vehicle on a suspended license and driving under the influence of drugs in August 2022.

King Harris has been released to Pickens County, the news outlet reported.
