Water Main Break Gets Some Dunwoody Students a Break From Class
About 1,400 students from Dunwoody High School spent part of the day at Peachtree Middle.

DUNWOODY, GA -- About 1,400 students from Dunwoody High School went on a brief, unscripted field trip Monday after a water main break shut down classes, according to news reports.
The students were bussed to Peachtree Middle School for a few hours before returning, WGCL reports.
Pictures posted on social media showed workers from the DeKalb County Water Department trying to resolve the issue.

Only ninth- and 10th-graders were taken to another school, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Eleventh- and 12th-graders remained at the campus the whole time the water issue was being addressed.
The water was turned back on late in the afternoon, according to the newspaper.
