Woman Gives Birth On I-285 W In Dunwoody: Report

DUNWOODY, GA — A mother had to pull over on the side of Interstate 285 west Tuesday morning to give birth to a baby girl near Ashford-Dunwoody Road, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.

Authorities told the T.V. outlet, "the baby couldn't wait any longer."

Dunwoody Police told Patch the baby had already been born by the time police arrived to the scene. Officers stayed with the mom and baby until the arrival of medical personnel. They were in good health and taken to the hospital, police said.
