Apparent East Atlanta Murder-Suicide Kills Boy, Suspect And Woman

EAST ATLANTA, GA — Three people, including a 7-year-old boy, were killed around 3:15 p.m. Monday in an apparent murder-suicide in the 3100 block of Briarcliff Road, the DeKalb County Police told Patch Wednesday.

Police did not detail the manner of the killing but said the 51-year-old male suspect died in the incident. The third victim was a 49-year-old woman, police said.

"At this time, we believe this to be a murder-suicide. The cause of death has not been determined. The investigation is ongoing," police said.
