Ilan Breeze, Designer Retro Stores Close

A breeze, by definition, is a current of air that comes and goes.

Ilan Breeze, the Caribbean-themed eatery that opened a few months ago at 537 Gresham Ave. is now closed.

On Saturday, the shell of a restaurant was empty, save an orange tabby cat that was entering in and out via an opening near the front door.

The consignment shop next door, which also opened within the past year, also is shuttered.

The building used to be home to the Blendz hair salon.
