New Water Park To Splash Down in Norcross

A water park is coming to the city of Norcross later this spring.

The new attraction will be inside Malibu Grand Prix off Brook Hollow Parkway. The theme park just signed all the permits for construction and installation, which should start in the next two weeks, according to General Manager Trey Young.

The water park will consist of three phases, which will be completed during the off seasons through 2015.

The first phase is known as Buccaneer Cove, which will be the biggest attraction of the three and aims to be unveiled Memorial Day weekend starting May 25.

Buccaneer Cove will consist of seven slides, wet tunnels, spray loops, an interactive aqua dome, spray cannons, cabanas, an eating area and more.
