$8,000 Worth Of Fish Stolen, Police Say Be Cautious Buying Fish

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Randy's Perennials and Water Gardens had $8,000 worth of fish stolen Thursday night or Friday morning.

The business and Lawrenceville Police are warning the public to be on the lookout for the fish. Business owners have filed a police report and have taken additional measures to secure the fish and find the perpetrator.

"We have pictures of many of the fish that were stolen. Many have unique patterns - meaning we can identify many of the fish as ours," owners told their Facebook followers.

The business and police encourage people to do a little research when acquiring any fish online or from a private party as to where the fish came from. Buy only from reputable sources.
