• Gwinnett Police asks for public's help locating 82-year-old man (11alive.com) — An 82-year-old man with dementia is missing from a home on Silver Charm Lane SW in Lawrenceville, and Gwinnett County Police are asking residents to help locate him. Family members say he disappeared after Christmas morning gift-opening and may be wearing blue plaid pajama pants, tennis shoes, and possibly a red Gap hoodie. Neighbors are urged to stay alert and contact police with any sightings.
   

• Pregnant woman dies after husband killed in Clarke County crash (fox5atlanta.com) — A Lawrenceville woman was identified as the wrong-way driver in a deadly multi-vehicle crash on GA 10 in Athens that has now claimed four lives, including a pregnant woman and her unborn child. Police say the Kia Seltos driven by the Lawrenceville resident struck several vehicles before catching fire, and the investigation into what caused the tragedy is still ongoing.
