A Lawrenceville man was shot by several officers after assaulting his ex-wife and then pointing a gun at officers, police say.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A Lawrenceville man was shot by several officers after assaulting his ex-wife and then pointing a gun at officers, police say.
The officer-involved shooting occurred on Alex Lane in Lawrenceville after a domestic incident between a man and woman, according to police.
The man was the woman's ex-husband and eventually came outside and pointed his firearm at the officers. More than one officer fired at the man. The woman is safe.
