• Gwinnett man sentenced to life in prison for 2022 murder of woman (fox5atlanta.com) — A man has been sentenced to life in prison for fatally shooting a woman visiting him at his Lawrenceville home in December 2022. Prosecutors say he pleaded guilty to murder and related charges after neighbors discovered the victim and called police. The Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office hopes the sentence offers some measure of healing for the victim’s family.
