LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A police officer was shot Friday afternoon outside a Gwinnett County apartment complex, according to multiple reports.
There’s a heavy police presence in front of the Anzio apartments, reported WSB-TV. Lawrenceville police confirmed to the news station that there was an officer-involved shooting, but no other details were released. The shooting occured around 5:15 p.m. on the 3100 block of Sweetwater Road in Lawrenceville, reported WGCL-TV.
