Charles Bentley, Longtime Owner of Bentley's Body Shop, Dies at 78

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road in Loganville.

Charles Bentley, age 78 of Loganville, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bay Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Don Malcom, Minister Don Hardison, and Rev. Cain Hendrix will officiate.

Mr. Bentley was owner and operator of Bentley’s Body Shop for 34 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Gaynell and Olin Bentley, and brothers Tony, Mike and James.

Mr. Bentley is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn Bentley; Son and Daughter-in-law: Alan and Elyse Bentley, all of Loganville; Daughter and Son-in-law Sandy and Jason Bratcher of Oxford; Son: Spencer Bentley of Loganville; Sisters and Brother-in-law: Patricia and Golden Day of Auburn; Gladys and M. C. King of Lilburn; and Diane and Jesse Shumate of Auburn; Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Clomer and Carolyn Bentley of Lawrenceville; Anthony and Susan Bentley of Marietta; David and Renee Bentley of Monroe; Guy and Dee Dee Bentley of Auburn; Mother-in-law: Alice M. Everett of Loganville, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
