  1. A Metro Atlanta church is hosting the largest turkey giveaway ever — just in time for Thanksgiving. Stonecrest's New Birth Missionary Baptist Church has given away over 2,000 turkeys to needy families since Thursday morning. They are also providing people with boxes of fruit and vegetables, shelf-stable items, and iced tea. Over 5,000 people received Thanksgiving dinner during the event. (11Alive.com WXIA)

  3. Gwinnett County Police officers are investigating an incident involving two teenagers, including one who was shot dead. The shooting happened on Wednesday night in the parking lot of La Mexicana Supermarket. There they found a wounded 17-year-old girl who was rushed to the hospital by first responders. A 16-year-old boy was also found at the scene shot to death in a car. The identities of the victims have not been released. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
