Fire Destroys Home On Old Zion Cemetery Road
Electricity — either from house wiring or a lightning strike — is believed to have sparked the fire. No injuries were reported.

LOGANVILLE, GA — Electricity — either from the house’s wiring or a lightning strike — is believed to have caused a fire that destroyed a home on Old Zion Cemetery Road Tuesday night.
Loganville firefighters were called to the fire at 256 Old Zion Cemetery Road at about 6:30 p.m. Two people were in the house at the time of the fire, but no injuries were reported.
The house is considered a total loss.

While the fire originated in the attic, its cause is still under investigation, said City of Loganville spokesperson Robbie Schwartz.
He said the initial cause of the fire is believed to be electrical, but investigators can’t rule out a lightning strike due to storms that were in the area at the time.
