- Multiple civil and voting rights groups accuse Gwinnett County's elections board of violating federal voter registration law. The groups want the board to stop hearing voter registration challenges until after this year's general election and change how it handles challenges. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
- The Barrow County Sheriff's Office is searching for 30-year-old Thomas Conner Johnson, who is wanted for terroristic threats, simple assault, and obstruction of law enforcement. He is also wanted in Gwinnett County. Johnson was spotted on Sunday on Highway 82 near Holsenbeck Road. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 immediately; anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Barrow County investigators at 770-307-3080. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- The Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources (GCDWR) will hold a Public Meeting on Nov. 9 to discuss a proposed project and inform the public of the need for improvements to the County's wastewater system. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. in the GCDWR Central Facility Training Room. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
- Gwinnett Sheriff's Office Community Outreach Section will host a National Faith and Blue Food Distribution event on Oct. 11. Gwinnett County deputies will help distribute food to families in need at 4:00 p.m. at the Davis Mill Station shopping center. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
