- In the last month alone, two Gwinnett County teenagers have died in separate shooting incidents, raising concerns about gun violence in the area. Elijah DeWitt was just 18 when he was shot dead by two other students, who have since been arrested and charged with the murder. 17-year-old Timothy Buchanan was killed after being shot on a basketball court; police are still searching for his killers. - The City of Loganville is ringing in the season with Autumn Fest today, Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The downtown area will feature a food court, live entertainment, an activity-filled kids' zone, and more. Their win means the Walton County School District earned a hat trick in terms of regional titles this year. All three district high school softball teams brought home region titles for their schools.
