Grace Snell Middle to Hold Annual Veterans Day Program
The Loganville school invites veterans out for a luncheon, singing and much more.
Grace Snell Middle will present the third annual Veterans Day Program this year on Nov. 11.
Veterans are invited out to the school for a luncheon at noon, followed by a patriotic program to honor men and women who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces. The students will sing military and patriotic songs, and present information about the US flag and each branch of the military. Also, the school orchestra will perform "America the Beautiful," the chorus will sing the national anthem, and the leadership class will present the flag.
Each attendee will be presented a medal and a certificate. A photo slideshow will be played in memory of Grace Snell Middle family members who are presently serving, or have served in the past. To conclude the program, seventh grade students will sing "God Bless the USA."
