Here are the top five stories in Loganville-Grayson today:
- Gwinnett County is still seeking election workers at the polls for the upcoming election on Nov. 8. Apply in-person at the poll official hiring events today and Nov. 7, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., at the Mountain Park Activity Building, 5050 Five Forks-Trickum Road, in Lilburn. (On Common Ground News)
- Yesterday morning, Nov. 4, Gwinnett County police received a call about a suspicious person carrying a pistol. An officer shot and killed a man along Singleton Road after the man pulled out a gun. Police found a note that was addressed to the Gwinnett County police and have handed it over to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, which has taken over the investigation. The identity of the man had not been released as of Friday evening. (WSB-TV Atlanta)
- The parents of 17-year-old Kaleb Henderson, a Gwinnett County student who was arrested after firing a gun at school on Oct. 21, said the school failed to stop the months of bullying which led to the shooting. No one was shot or injured at the high school in nearby Lawrenceville, but Kaleb is in jail and facing charges. (WSB-TV Atlanta)
