July 4 Grayson Accident Leads To Vehicular Homicide Charge
A Loganville woman was charged with second-degree vehicular homicide in connection with an accident that led to the death of a motorcyclist.

GRAYSON, GA — A Loganville woman has been charged with vehicular homicide in connection with a July 4 accident in Grayson that led to the death of a motorcyclist.
Aaliyah Ritchie, 18, was charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and failure to yield while turning left. She was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail and has since bonded out.
On July 4, Clinton Matthews, 51, also of Loganville, was headed south on Grayson Highway as Ritchie was turning her Honda Pilot left onto Rosebud Road. Matthews’ motorcycle struck the rear of Ritchie’s Pilot, ejecting him and a passenger. Matthews died two weeks later of his injuries.
