  1. This year's Spirits and Spirits event in Gwinnett is aiming to be the best one yet! On Friday, Oct. 28, you'll be able to experience live pumpkin carving and a truly wild after-party.   2. On Wednesday, Brookwood High School in Gwinnett County went into lockdown after two separate but disturbing incidents. A suspect search was being conducted in the area, followed by a weapons search inside the school itself. Police have stated there is no credible threat over concern about potential weapons at the school. Despite this, the school remained in a 'soft lockdown' until yesterday evening. (11Alive.com WXIA)
  3. The emergency rental assistance program portal for Gwinnett County is scheduled to close shortly. Project RESET 2.0 was first implemented back in April 2021. Gwinnett County had been given $55 million from the federal government to provide support and assistance to those directly impacted by the COVID-9 pandemic.
