Loganville Murder Suspect Surrenders At Gwinnett County Jail
Family brought the 29-year-old man to face murder charges connected to a shooting death at a Stone Mountain Highway extended-stay hotel.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A Loganville man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting at an extended-stay hotel near Lilburn turned himself in Sunday.
Marquel Williams, 29, was brought to the Gwinnett County Jail at about 4:30 a.m. by his family, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
On Wednesday, Gwinnett County police found a man shot dead in the parking lot of Home Stay Suites on Stone Mountain Highway. Authorities said the shooting apparently started as an argument between the victim and Williams.

Williams is charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, felony obstruction, interference with government property and disorderly conduct. As of Monday, Williams was being held without bond at the Gwinnett County Jail.
