  1. On Oct. 4, the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners approved a new ordinance that will make it more difficult to drag race in Gwinnett County. The ordinance allows Gwinnett Police to impound vehicles involved in street racing for up to a month. (OCG News)
  2. Two teens, 19-year-old Zion Chandler Richardson and 18-year-old Bryan Kemare, were arrested for allegedly murdering a high school football star. Elijah DeWitt, 17, was found shot to death in the parking lot of a mall in Gwinnett County. (Fox Carolina)
  3. Loganville High School's head football coach Brad Smith was voted "SBLive Georgia Coach of the Week." The votes are cast by Georgia high school sports fans. (Scorebook Live)
