Shooter On The Run After Man Found Dead At Snellville Hotel

When Gwinnett County Police arrived Wednesday morning at a hotel on Stone Mountain Highway, they found a man dead in the parking lot.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — One man was shot dead and another is on the run after an argument Wednesday in the parking lot of a Snellville extended-stay hotel, according to authorities.

When Gwinnett County Police arrived late Wednesday morning at Home Stay Suites on Stone Mountain Highway, they found a man dead in the parking lot. Witnesses said he was shot after arguing with another man.

Gwinnett police used dogs to search the area for the shooter, but they didn’t find him.

Witnesses described the suspect to police as a Black male with dreads or short dreads, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing plaid shorts, and either a green shirt or no shirt.
