  1. On Monday night, the primary suspect in a localwoman's murder turned himself in to the police. Edward Smith has been arrested for felony murder and aggravated assault charges involving his partner, Breana Rogers. Rogers was found dead at a construction site near Stone Mountain Highway and East Park Place Boulevard in Gwinnett County. Officials believe a domestic dispute was the catalyst that led to Rogers' shooting death. (WSB Atlanta)

A local man has been arrested in connection to a shooting that left two people injured. 24-year-old Corey Austin of nearby Lawrenceville has been arrested on two counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony for the Saturday shooting. Police arrived on the scene near the 200 block of West Clayton Street to find one victim with a bullet wound to the head, and another who had been shot through the hand. Both victims are expected to survive. (WUGA)
