  1. On Wednesday, Sep. 21, Gwinnett County Schools Superintendent Calvin Watts said that the district is considering technology upgrades throughout schools. Including metal detectors, scanners, and artificial intelligence to identify devices or firearms. (WSB TV)
  2. Two women, 17-year-old Janine Gonzalez and 27-year-old Antonetta Stevens, who are accused of beating a young mother to death over a man will remain in jail with no bond. In August, Ashley Bocanegra was reportedly beaten to death because she was sleeping with Stevens' boyfriend, who was also Gonzalez's brother. Yesterday Sep. 23, a video of the beating, shot by the suspects, was shown at a Gwinnett County court. (WSB TV)
  3. Yesterday, Sep. 23, Grayson High School class of 2024 guard Gicarri Harris received an offer from the Hoosiers. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound basketball player was recently ranked No. 122 by 247Sports, the No. 12 combo guard, and the No. 10 player in Georgia. (The Daily Hoosier)
  4. Waltclaire Flynn, an offensive tackle from Loganville class of 2024, was listed as a "Prospect to Know" by Fan Nation. Flynn is one of the top players expected to be watching the Georgia Tech at UCF game from inside FBC Mortgage Stadium at 4:00 p.m. today, Sep. 24. (Fan Nation)
  5. ArtWorks Gwinnett wants residents to get involved with the county's first arts and creative economy master plan. The developers of this plan are using surveys and other methods of information gathering to receive feedback from the public by Sep. 30. (Subscription: Gwinnett Daily Post)
